Ryan Sacksteder

Born with lake water in his veins, Ryan Sacksteder was skiing behind the family boat by 18 months old—launching a lifelong passion for everything watersports. This early introduction to boating wasn't just recreation; it became the foundation for his future entrepreneurial journey. As Ryan and his brother Eric grew, their passion for watersports & boating only grew with them. A combination of their passion and being raised by entrepreneurs would lead to why their success in the marine industry has grown year after year!

In 2009, Ryan and his family co-founded SC Wake, bringing his unique blend of marine expertise and business acumen to the boating community, specializing in all facets of the marine lifestyle including boat maintenance, detailing, wakeboard lessons, audio upgrades, to a full boat rehab. From those early days providing wakeboard lessons and boat maintenance, Ryan has steered the company toward specialized excellence in the marine industry. With their background, love for lake life, extensive knowledge of marine products, and the desire to deliver exceptional service, this is what separates SC Wake from their competitors.

The turning point came in 2015 when Ryan led SC Wake to become a SeaDek Certified Fabricator and Installer. Certified SeaDek Fabricators specialize in the entire SeaDek process from start to finish including digitizing/templating boats, creating CAD drawings, fabricating SeaDek EVA material using CNC technology, and installing the final products to assure a perfect fit and finish. This certification wasn't just another credential—it represented SC Wake's commitment to mastering every aspect of custom marine flooring.
